am i stressed out? @ 11:51 PM
recently i feel stressed out. hmmm. it's just the time of the semester. damn. yes. i have to use the word. it's the time whereby you have to type reports and reports, whether they're group work or individual, you still have to type and type!! and yah, the heavy workload of my japanese 4 is not helping at all!! please do not succumb to the stress violet chew.... cool down.
i broke down at tuition tonight. i actually turned away and started tearing. javier was supposed to have learnt his chinese characters but when i tested him, he gave me all sort of nonsense. i was so angry i took the book and threw it onto the desk. i even threw it at him. he was all shocked i suppose. i flared up big time. then it made me wonder... did i really not teach him well..? am i such a lousy teacher? why can't he just learn and remember his things??? i broke down after all these thoughts rush to my mind. he then did his work quietly.
but towards the end, we were fine again. maybe i dote on him quite a lot. i will always ask him what went wrong and explained why i was so angry with him. javier. i hope your memory will seriously improve larr...
ok just finished doing the chinese drama interview transcript. had to take down notes in chinese that day after interviewing the grandmas in hokkien and teochew. i swear. i have never spoken so much hokkien and teochew in my life before! haha anyway, the transcript was done. woohoo! finally... but there's another report that's coming right up. the chinese tradition. it's a group work and i am doing it with my new friends liting and sihui...friends of my dear mavis. haha. we have a 18 page writeup already and things are still being added in. i thought the term paper will worth like 30 or 40% but what the hell! only 20%. and we are slogging away and putting in so much brain juice and effort for it. and it's also 20% for tutorial participation. demmit. i have yet to speak up during tutorials lohhhhh. grrr. but i always try to give answers softly.... haha hope my tutors realized that...
the japanese novel or reading assignment. just kill me. i spent days reading and trying to comprehend it. finally finished it and handed in today. it was so tough. even a single page worksheet tortured me for 3 days. it was really driving me crazy...... and here we have, more drafts and speeches and presentation and skit to come!!!! arrrrhhhh. shinisoudesu!!!! it's not like i don't like japanese language. i love it. but it's like pushing me into one corner already. i saw okada sensei ytd at AS7. i think he cannot recognize me already. that's so sad.... will i get him as my tutor again next semester? i seriously wish for that larh!
see. this is what you call a verbal diarrhoea. i am relieving stress in my blog. yup. came across ryan's blog and saw a post related to me n d' and i found it hilarious. hahah. kawan is full of crap, just like me. no wonder we click quite well.
i need some play time.
i need relaxation. like real activties to make me feel all relax and carefree... but do i even have time for all these??
something happened in the family... my relative has passed away this morning at 5 plus... hope my auntie and cousins will be able to take it easy... not exactly a good time. ya. perhaps these few days just suck.
ok i shall stop blabbering. may november be a better month for all. erm as if. exams start in november lorh! how great.

ok anyway, i hope i made the right choice today. =) i was feeling miserable the whole of today. ever since i stepped into school mannn. coz' i was thinking whether or not to buy the pair of papillio. i saw this pair of charles n keith imitation on sat when i went out with d' and tried them on. i swear. i gave dear the 'this is most comfortable pair of shoes i've ever worn' look. haha. then we called sam, his sis and she said she's been eyeing birkies for a long long time. so i said maybe i'll buy with her. then true indeed. the very next day on msn, i saw xuemin's blog asking who wanna buy birks online.
so last night, sam decided on her pair but i didn't. i knew it was too expensive for a pair of footwear. but i really want the comfy feeling... and the design. hahaha. too lovely to resist but i held back. and that caused my misery the whole of today. kept thinking to buy or not to buy. think until i fed up. i told myself not to and just give up the idea but holy shit. i just can't get it outta my head. hahaha so halfway thru tuition i sms-ed xuemin to say i cannot take it i want a pair. muahahah. and i have been smiling since then.
having heard some views from friends and of course, holding onto my very first hoice, i chose this!! =)
yay! finally made up my mind. altogether 18 pairs of papillio and birkenstock were ordered. haha. sis got the same floral design but the madrid ones. can change with her. feet same size anyway. 72 dollars. it will not be a waste of money. i just know it. *all smiles*
i believe it's not just a rash move to get them. coz' i kept thinking and i just want to get them. haha. it's like after such a long time taken to consider and you still want something, it just means you will definitely regret it if you let go of the chance. a bit exaggerated but isn't that how things in life happen as well? i hope some of you out there get what i'm trying to express. haha. byes!!!

tony roma's & opera opera! @ 2:55 AM
ok he's sleeping beside me now. it's already 2plus am. my weekend was good. as usual, break starts on friday! hehe. went to shop with dear at plaza sing then head for his house to watch the dvd we rented from video ez. then dear cooked fried rice for me for dinner. haha it was yummy.
we watched quite a number of shows recently. dodgeball, benchwarmers, date movie (quite stupid) and lakehouse (just watched it today! haha it really sent me and d' thinking and analyzing the show as we went along but it was niceeeee)
then saturday was our 16th month anniversary. we agreed to go out for celebration since beginning of the month. and as promised, dear brought me to tony roma's for their famous ribs! dinner was great. =)
i was determined to buy dear a top when i saw the old t-shirt he was wearing. but it was so hard to get a top for him.... urgh. but it was so easy to get a top for myself! hahaha. i tried on a white top to match dear and it really matched well. dear said i was smart to think of buying clothes myself to match his instead of asking him to buy new ones. and so, he paid for the top. haha. he paid so happily lor. maybe it's a real torture to make him buy clothes. ha.
we headed for dear's house and took loads of pictures. muahaha. that seems to be our new hobby nowadays. and on the same fateful night, i got to drink the sweetest cocktail ever!!! i couldn't taste the vodka at all. it was like what sam said, a 'super sweet orange squash'. haha boink your head arh darlie.
sunday was well-spent too! i went to do research with Mavis for our chinese drama project. we went to a temple for its opera performance and we stayed from 1-3pm. and then returned back to mavis' house for a rest. the opera troupe boss was super friendly!! so was one of the uncles who acted..haha. then at 7.45pm, we returned to the stage at ubi for the actual night performance. we enjoyed the show and we really sat thru and finished the whole show...! it ended at 10.50pm and dear even watched the last 15 mins with me. hahaha think he didn't understand a single word they said it was a full 3 hour teochew opera... =)
and today being a public hol, mavis and i took almost the whole day to do interviews with our grandmothers. haha my ah ma was quite cute. so chatty. mavis' ah ma more shy i guess. anyway, i'll show the pictures of the opera-related topic next time!
i shall sleep. hehs.

my life... i can't say i am super stressed now. because i don't seem like i am at all. but i keep having this fear in me. like all the projects and term papers which have piled up since the mid-term break (or even earlier?) just 2 more to go, after handing in the reproductive health paper on monday. =) we are doing the topic 'test tube babies'. we all know the term ya? but what exactly is it? do you even know the medical term for it? quite an interesting topic. had a great time laughing at the central lib computers corner yesterday with gen and caryn. haha.
and oh my good larr. i am only 21 but i have many financial concerns already! i am always worrying about my bills and accounts. it's nice being independent and being able to spend your own money because you enjoy total freedom and have all the rights over how you wanna spend your money. but it gets stressful when you have things breaking down here and there. (my computer needs some new components every year) you start to worry about where your money should come from. and it gets a bit annoying when mum keeps asking me to return her the money because she paid for my bills first. money money. bahhhh. my monetary reserve is running lowwwwwww. =( tuition has stopped for 2 kids. and the last one is stopping his soon. i need to work.
okay enough of my problems. let's take a look at qinwei's party on 7th oct! and happy 21st birthday to yixian my primary school buddy!!!! the last picture was the thank-you gift made by qinwei... a very nicely decorated rocher! and i must say the fruitpunch was goooood. ahaha cos i drank like 5,6 glasses. burppps.

yesterday was a busy busy day! first i had to attend peiling's (my 1st 3 mth sajc classmate!) 21st birthday tea party at furama hotel. it was fun... i didn't eat much but i saw melvyn who was opposite me eating super duper lot. see until i full. haha. he really can eat. peiling looked very pretty! it was great seeing 11 ppl from s75 turning up. some went overseas, if not the number of people would have increased. who would have thought that a 3-month-old class would be that united even after 4 years?
i had too much time to waste after that so i took a 1-hour bus from habour front to choa chu kang before meeting xinlun. it was primary sch friend's qinwei's birthday party at warren golf and country club in the night. again. eatttttt. i ate quite a lot and angeling kept trying to ask me go get some more food. haha i think my diet plan already half-gone. so let the half remain there and don't spoil it totally. haha so i controlled. both birthday girls are as so sweet. the thank you gift they made.. so nice. shall post their pics up soon.
then i went to settlers cafe with dear to meet cj, sam and ben. crazy bunch. hahah UGLY UGLY UGLY!!!!!!!! stupid cj. she scared me off totally. there was one game where i stunned and didn't move at all. haha. wise decision made. i missed cj so i decided to go have fun with them. cj is super funny. the 10 dollars was well-spent! haha.
